We appreciate the continued support throughout the years. The Marathon tradition will continue! In 21012, we will hold our 26th marathon. Click on the History tab to see how the tradition began. 2012 Marathon scheduled for August 31st - September 2nd, 2012 Check back in late July for updates and registration information. Located in Valley Falls, Kansas approximately 25 MILES NE OF TOPEKA Full concessions throughout the tournament. In 2011 we held our 25th Annual tournament......................... At 8:00pm Friday, Septmber 2nd, 2011 the first pitches of the 25th annual VFAA marthon were thrown. We had 21 Men's teams and 17 Co-rec teams.
Bat Policy for Valley Falls Athletic Association 2011 Marathon was the same as the Topeka City Parks and Rec Commission bat rules to include: “illegal bats for men in the Men’s Open and men who play in Corec Open leagues will be the following Miken Ultra, Miken Ultra II, and all bat marked Senior Slow Pitch.”
